Texture & Pattern: 2 of 7, Weathered Oyster Shells

These oyster shells, have been living on our letter box for several years. Their colours change according to the weather...as you can see the one at bottom right is a lovely mottle... of deep red and white, believe me...although sadly not evident under current criteria. Others have subtle variations from almost white to 40 shades of grey. Worth another posting perhaps in March and/or beyond.

OB, of course.
Great texture...

A very unusual bowl of texture.

If you're going to photograph all the shells around the place, you've already got half the month filled 😉

One day the postman is going to take a shell and send it somewhere. Better put a stamp on it!

This is lovely. Although it's given me a slight craving for an oyster (or two) and some cold fresh white wine.
