...and tonight, making his début on 365 is Fred Bare

Fred belonged to my younger brother Michael who died almost a year ago. Fred was his constant companion for much of his childhood when he spent protracted periods in hospital...a great distance from where we lived. Fred now resides with us and is fully integrated within the Sayer/Sherlock Bear Family.

Fred and Thread are pictured here in an Intrepid Feat of Balance.

Oh I love Fred Bare, I have a teddy just like him and mine is called Special Ted because every time the kids were sick when they were young, Special Ted would make them better. I see he still has his pads on his hands and feet too, I had to make new knitted ones for my Ted.
What a lovely keepsake and reminder of your brother.
