On 20 January I took a shot of this tree, pledging to take one each month and thus 'live' this tree's evolution throughout the year.
Hadn't reckoned on this van being parked, exactly where I didn’t need it. Pragmatism prompted me to consider 'Flash of White' for today, especially as such vans are legion in this neck of the woods.

There's no danger of the tree being cut down. Paimpont is host to Paimpont Forest and Lake. It's the 3rd biggest (of 100) communes in France and recognised as a 'jewel in the crown' for this region, (Brittany) with coastline, many small islands, seafood to die for...think lobsters, langoustines, mussels. In addition Breton music, dance, language and food are beyond compare.
