The rumoured heatwave has yet to arrive...or not. French media has ensured that all and sundry are aware of the temperature rising to 40C. Here in Brittany, we give on to the English Channel and the Atlantic which should mitigate extreme conditions.
Humidity is on the rise but we are still getting rain most days. But a high of only about 67F in Southern Maine. So rain and clouds and no pretty sunset.
I find if they predict a heatwave it never comes. Last year I was in Portugal in 40 degrees heat, not an experience I want to repeat, We Irish are not made for that kind of heat, then again you Manx folk probably are the same, like the mood you captured, Margo.
