Having forgotten my camera when we left, I find myself between a rock and a hard place. Unexpected sabbatical, busman's holiday, laze and gaze, chase moonbeams et alia? However...I feel guilty, well almost, to be not posting a daily shot, so have decided to hereby introduce 'Pick 'n' Mix'. This will be a trawl through shots I've previously rejected, no big deal, though there should be enough of them in the short term.
Wonderful idea! Look forward to seeing the other pics!! Wonderful pic of your reference books. I have a stack myself!! My favorite is Sibley Guide to Birds. I can never tell those shorebirds apart!
@vignouse Basically same trip as last year - first to Pennsylvania to see @olivetreeann then to Ocean City, Md to visit with @shesnapped. I hope to go to Prime Hook Wild Life Refuge, Chintaquege Island, and may the Delaware Gap.
Great shot of your go-to information books...Great idea for a posting series...Once I was in London years ago and I dropped and broke my camera while trying to take a photo and at the same time keep my balance on a stone wall. I was beside myself. So my niece and I found ourselves in some store in London where I was able to purchase another camera for the rest of the trip.
Handy books to take on a holiday too - for identification!
