Whilst this is one of our stand by walks, recent inclement weather has seriously hampered access. So today Mitzi and I went for a look-see. Even M seemed daunted. The reflections give some idea of the depth of the water. Carrying M, we made a detour through the significantly swampy undergrowth into the forest proper...until we reached terra firma again. Fast dash home, change of kit and off to Gym session...and it was only 10am. Retired...you’ve got to be joking!
