Checkpoint? by s4sayer

Checkpoint?

Mitzi and I went for a recce at ‘Horseguards'. Still unfit for pleasure walks, yet sallied forth to see whether it was 'navigable'. It wasn’t...and neither does it look as if it will be any time soon. On the + side...we did get a photo...of upside down trees, on the - side, we were caught in another deluge. Heigh ho;-)

OB
It will be a while before all the standing water goes and a while longer before the muddy surface dries out sufficiently to be walked upon... not that any of this appears to bother Mitzi!

rather damp indeed!

I'm guessing it was doggie bath time when you returned home. Your photo tells a story. It's all good.

Great photo, somebody is going to need a good bath when she gets home

Nice puddle reflections...Mitzi stands out against the mud :).

Mitzi hasn't heard about taking the high road?

@essiesue @onewing
Only her paws and forelegs need drying with a towel. Any soil is superficial insofar as her natural coat is very fine, dries quickly and is largely kept clean by her RED coat. She's a trooper!

I like the photo of your muddy, puddle-y path and like that you're willing to get out and walk when the outdoors is mushy like this. Mitzi doesn't look like she worries too much about getting her feet wet or dirty.

Like here it's wet and then just a little bit more wet.

Lots of details on black. Mitzi is an explorer, isn’t she!
