Fallout on Horseguards, 2 of 2

This is the same shot as yesterday...in colour. I'd be pleased to receive your comments as which is the better and/or your preference. Thank you.
The reflection is stronger in this one Margo

This color version lightens the mood for me. The pops of green are reassuring for hope.

Also a lovely shot, but it looks too soft and gentle for the subject, in comparison to the strong black and white rendition posted yesterday

They tell a different story I think: yesterday was all doom and despondency - a legacy of the past... but today we have fresh growth and a hope of renewal.

I think I prefer the B&W, though, this is nice too.

B&W makes for a more dramatic shot but, like Richard says, the colour adds hope and life to the shot.

The mood is brighter with the sunshine. There's a bit of optimism with the spring green colors of new plant life.

oh I do like the bw version much more this time!

I tend to agree with Richard that they are like two different sides of the same story - like winter and spring or summer and fall.
I do like them both

Thank you for your comments...for 2 consecutive shots. A worthwhile 'experiment' for me & reinforced by your comments. I prefer the colour version too...more optimism and hope. More than enough gloom and doom already in circulation.

Fast forward to a Spring, Renewal and Optimism.
