The number of times I have undone...or tried to undo Clematis stems is beyond a joke. With their large, delicate blooms there is complex hidden undertow of ceaseless weaving and knitting of stems. I spent too long yesterday trying to liberate blooms that were concealed under leaves or in the throes of just being an attractive flower. The real 'problem' is me...I just love undoing knots, the more complex or delicate the better. Still more to achieve with this vine!
