Yesterday I posted a shot of 100+ waterfowl at the furthest reaches from their normal habitat on Paimpont lake. With milder weather forecast for today, I'd hoped to see them dipping, diving, taking off and landing...all the things that ducks do.
I went out in the morning chill and was rewarded with winter surfing. Only if we venture out can we find wonderful pictures to post. Ducks you have had but this foggy - almost hikey - is something different.
You've excelled yourself with this Mrs S - personally, I would have cropped half of the foreground away but even so, you have created a powerful image.
Oooo! This one caught my eye in the thumbnail views. I like the minimal color palette and the way the grass divides the grays of the image with a hint of brown.
Beautiful, stern upright reeds stand in solitude, peacefulness, silence...all the things I long for but never find in noisy London... Still having a hard time coming up with something for your challenge, sorry :(
