Morning Reflection by salza

Morning Reflection

My get pushed challenge from Gabi @gabigabs - I would like to see a photo of reflection.
Pixie and Skye just had to photo bomb. I took a few shots this morning but I like this one best (despite my photo bombers!)
@gabigabs a reflection for you!

Great photo for your challenge and all the better for the canine photo bombers.

Nicely done. I really like Pixie and Sky photo bombing the shot. They make for a nice foreground... and I totally can hear they planning to jump in the water to ripple up that perfectly still reflection you found.

Fantastic symmetry ... and the look of admiration from the doggie audience is priceless!

What a stunning reflection -- the lake is a mirror. And the dogs are a fun addition.

Oh the photo bombers add to the story! They are enjoying the view as much as we are! Lovely

I like the way the pond reflects the pink sky, not seen in the view of the sky we get.

Love the photo bombers. Neat reflections

It's sweet with them in there- as if they are looking at the reflection instead of the reality. Good shot!

Beautiful reflections! Love to see the doggies there!

Lovely reflection. I like the dogs in the foreground. A fun variation would be to crop just above the dam (which would also eliminate the overexposed sky - the exposure on the dam and reflection is spot on!)

@ericdibosco I toyed with doing exactly that but left it as I quite liked the fact that the top half of the shot looks over exposed and the bottom half not. I know it's not ideal photographically but at times I like to break the rules!

@salza :) I once heard that a reflection is more or less 1 f-stop less exposed than the true image, which is exactly the way you have it here. When processing images and manipulating exposure selectively in different areas of the image (as I often do!) one must always take care to preserve that difference.

Fabulous reflection. And I do like the dogs included.

How gorgeous view and love how the dogs are enjoying it too!

i think girls added dimension to the already fabulous shot. if you can't get a human for that extra element, get the doggies in.
