So pretty and soft! I wonder if it is deer proof and would grow well in my lousy soil? I'll have to check with the garden center as this shot makes me want to grow it!
@olivetreeann Ann, I have no idea about the deer but lavender is extremely hardy. It survives in deadful soil conditions and can handle heat and low water conditions. Not sure if it can survive snow but it does cope with some cold weather and frost.
@salza Thanks Sally! That's good to know- I'll have to see if they bundle it in burlap for the winter or completely dig it up and bring indoors. That'll be fun to check out.
