Beautiful! I photographed it as well, and this is a perfectly paired example to show my grandson how it looks "different" depending on where in the world we look at it!
@Weezilou indeed, it nice to be able to show the two different angles. A few years ago Vikki and I collaborated. Each one of us took a picture on the same day, emailed our captures to one another and we then created our own diptych indicating which was the southern and northern hemisphere one.
Great moon shot- missed the full full moon by one day, but was happy to catch it last night when we arrived home. I don't know why but I felt there was something special about this one. Beautiful shot!
fabulous. i don't get to see the moon much these days as it's always cloudy. and when i do see it, it's late in the night and i'm lazy to go out in to the cold! aces on this, sally.
