The stark contrast between the weather today and yesterday. Beautiful sunshine but not very warm. I haven't seen any snow but it's cold enough to make one think that the mountain peaks have had a dusting.

I am in the same climate situation as Joan. The outside temperature reading in the car today was 107 degrees F! I have to chuckle though because even though I know it's cold for where you are, when it's cold here we do not see these kinds of plants anywhere- in we don't see any plants other than evergreens! Lovely still life.
I can always tell when there has been snow in the mountains here - that chill that bites your bones
It has been really chilly here the last week but this weekend is sunny and warm. Clear skies though and chilly at night.
