I prefer the middle one here, over your choice. I tend to like lower key over high key, and I like to pov and dof in this one.

@bill_fe Bill I can tell you that I debated over that one and the one I ultimately choose! The major reason I choose the one I did was because the beans are more in focus. The lack of sharpness is not quite so noticable in the collage, but comparing them next to one another it is.

Tell me -- is this how the beans landed, or did you arrange them? I always end up with them on top of light fittings and in the back of cupboards whenever I try anything like this. I'm also impressed that you have the freedom to do so many angles and not show anything in the background.

@scotthouston there's some photoshop magic on a few of the pics to clone out the edge of the white card that I used as the background.
