Books

For my get pushed challenge from Mary @mcsiegle - How about making an image with a book, or books as the subject. I don’t mean a story in the book but the physical object(s) - though if you want to include a relationship with the content in your composition that’s ok. But the book itself is the main focus. How does that sound?
@mcsiegle Mary here is my response to your challenge

@30pics4jackiesdiamond and these are only a small portion of our collection. I keep threatening to pack up the ones that we have all read and give them to the second hand bookshop that our local animal shelter runs but it's difficult to actually get around to doing it.

@ludwigsdiana we have quite a diverse selection of genre plus we also have loads of books on Kindle and Audible. For me books are like animals - you have to have them.

@graemestevens absolutely - be it a paper version or a digital one. I need to know that I've always got at least two or three books waiting in the wings for just in case.

@golftragic this is only a small portion of the books. This shelf is three books deep and there are piles dotted all round the house. Plus books on Kindle and Audible. I shouldn't run out of reading matter for a while....
