Riding the thermals by samae

Riding the thermals

I tried something different today. I tried to track the family of hawks that were playing in the wind. I learned a few things: changing the setting on the lens for tracking is a must & changing the focus points makes a huge difference. And —-well—- it is NOT as easy as it looks.

Thanks for stopping by- best on black if you have the time.
Stunning shot - great focus and detail ! fav

And then you have to remember to change those settings back - I have the worst time with that part :) But you're right, it can make a big difference. This is neat in b&w.

@milaniet ha you are so right! I sometimes can’t figure out why it is not focusing only to realize I left it on manual focus —it’s always something—ugh
