Spent all day elbow deep in cow manure and garden soil prepping my garden for planting seeds! Still much to do as (don’t look)there are still many weeds to get rid of but my containers and asparagus bed is ready. Miss my Iowa garden back in the day where anything and everything grew in the ground like magic, but in Oklahoma we have mostly rock for soil. So I’ve learned to do container gardening. I have a well established asparagus garden which this year ought to produce well. Many Strawberry and blueberry plants too . I am planning spinach,kale,various lettuce varieties, tomatoes and wide variety of peppers. I plant a variety of all kinds of herbs too. Last year I even planted sweet corn and had success -so doing that again. Gardening just feeds my soul. You may take the farm girl out of Iowa but I will find a way lol
