There is a little trail behind our cabin that takes you to the top of Mt. Dunbar which is the little mountain we are on. I was hoping for a spectacular sunset over Mt Scott , but it was too cloudy. It was still very exhilarating to get to the top and look out over the area.
Mt. Scott is 2,464 ft high and dominates the Wichita Mountains and the tiny resort town of Medicine Park. Later I will show you photos of the scary drive to the top of the mountain not good for my virtigo-and the views from up there.
Very English names for these hills - just hills for us with our high mountains around. We view our mountains - 5394ft from far! Wouldn't want to climb them though!
