WWI Memorial Museum

We walked from Josh and Glenna’s loft with the dogs to this beautiful tribute high upon a hill overlooking the city. The weather app said it was going to rain at 3:00. It had been wrong so far since we’ve been here. We reached the top to take in the view... then precisely at 3:00 herecame the down pour. We walked as fast as we could to shelter. We didn’t have tickets so we couldn’t go inside the museum. My dogs don’t like rain so they were a bit freaked out. It let up a bit so we kept walking. Finally we found cover at while Josh ran back to his loft to get our truck and come back for us. It is a day I will never forget . I plan to go through the museum next time for sure.

Other views from atop the hill in my extras.

Thanks for putting my photos on PP yesterday. Appreciate you stopping by.
It's lovely! Glad it hasn't been torn down or vandalized.
