Pohutukawa by sandradavies

Pohutukawa

The pohutakawa is an iconic New Zealand tree, it's a coastal evergreen tree in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae. This wee one I found growing high up exposed and surviving. The single red flower signifies it is high summer.

This is the final of my Great Barrier Island selection.
Nicely captured.
