ROLL OUT THE BARREL

Abruzzo Day 2 – 17th April.

“Roll out the barrel, we'll have a barrel of fun

Anybody remembers this song? When I was uploading this shot, this song immediately came to mind.

Our next visit for the day was this winery. That is what I love about these coach tours – they have such a full itinerary, and I don’t like going on holiday just to idle the time away. We had a tour of the place and watched the bottling process and the many casks and barrels in the cellar with the wine still fermenting in them. I thought this row of casks made a lovely shot.
