On our 4th day in Abruzzo, we woke up when the first light of day was showing and a quick look out of the hotel balcony indicated that, at last, we were going to have a beautiful day on Holy Saturday. So a quick wash and shave, grapped the camera and straight to the beach (which was around the corner to the hotel) to capture the rising sun. I wasn’t disappointed.
Here are three of the shots I took. The panorama is a stitch of some 5 or 6 photos.
This wasn’t a day I was looking forward to. In fact, it was Christine who suggested this holiday and I initially refused because I thought this excursion wouldn’t be interesting. How mistaken I was!!! You will see later.
