We’re off to Gozo for Easter, this time with Denise (my daughter), Ian (her husband) and Max (her son). Will be back on 365 next Tuesday. My son and his family will join us on Saturday. In the meantime, I am posting a few shots to fill the gap.
These cabbies were the main transport for the common people (the rich had beautiful carriages while the poor farmers used their donkey-drawn carts) before the advent of the motor engine. Nowadays few are left; the are used to take tourists for short tours around specific areas. This one is in Valletta.
Joke: Three drunk guys decide to take the cabbie for a tour of the city. The driver walked his horse two steps and stopped. Then he said: “The tour is over. Will you please step down.”
First drunk hand over the money for the fare. The second drunk says: “Thank you”.
The third drunk slaps the driver on the face. The driver was shocked thinking the third drunk knew what he did and afraid of loosing his licence. So he politely asked: “What was that for?”
“Don’t drive so fast next time. You nearly killed us”.
Thank you so much for viewing my project. Your comments and the fav's are very much appreciated.
Have a great time with you family.
