From the second day of our Sicily holiday – 20 September, 2015.
With Max with us it was impossible to leave out a day at the amusement park. Actually it was his dad who wanted to take him there. We grandparents had to go along. But it was fun at the end of the day. Sicily has its own amusement park, Etnaland.
This is a shot I took of Ian and Max on this ride – they are right behind the man and his son in the first row and in front of the boy with his hands up. I had taken this ride earlier but didn’t enjoy the rough ride.
Joke: What happened?" asked the hospital visitor to the heavily bandaged man sitting up in bed.
"Well, I went to the Amusement Park at the weekend and decided to take a ride on the roller coaster. As we came up to the top of the highest loop, I noticed a little sign by the side of the track. I tried to read it but it was very small and I couldn't make it out. I was so curious that I decided to go round again, but we went by so quickly that I couldn't see what the sign said. By now, I was determined to read that sign so I went round a third time. As we reached the top, I stood up in the car to get a better view."
"And did you manage to see what the sign said this time?" asked the visitor.
"Yes."
"What did it say?"
"Don't stand up in the car!"
Thank you very much for looking and for all the lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
A great action shot of the roller coaster cars and the exited people in it .
The area I`ve captured my last pic.`s is to far for me to bike.
We`ll go a next time and take the bikes with us on the car. Park the car in the neigbourhood and have a bike ride.
