We went to Gibraltar on this day and we had to use our passports to cross the frontier with Spain.
Gibraltar is well known for the famous Barbary macaques, the only free-to-roam primates in Europe. According to legend, if the Apes leave Gibraltar it will cease to be British.
There were a few along our trail and I took some shots of them. Here mama is searching for bugs in her child’s fur. Looks like the child is enjoying it.

A super cute capture. Fav!! 😀 Reminds me of when I was staying in at the Rock Hotel and the people staying in the room next to me, had left a window open, despite being warned about the apes. They had a wonderful time on the balcony dining on biscuits and crisps... got some good shots of them!! 😀
