MOTHER OF STORMS - GĦAR ID-DUD

Local media had been warning the Islands of very stormy weather for Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd December. On Thursday I was a bit disappointed when I went to take some shots from Valletta but Friday was really spectacular in Sliema. The sun was out but the strong winds were icy cold.

This is one shot of part of the promenade which we call 'Ghar id-Dud' being battered by the angry sea.
