I was having breakfast with my wife in the kitchen when she told me to quickly get the camera. I went without knowing what for and grabbed the first one I saw, the Panasonic which was the only one that was downstairs. Then she showed me this cute robin through the kitchen window. I snapped two quick shots and tried silently to go out through the door into the yard on the side adjacent to where the window is. I don’t know how he spied me because he was off before I even had time to open the door. I haven’t seen him for some days. Now he came again yesterday but was off again before I could get the camera.
So here he is, through the window.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
Well done for capturing him. A lot of our wild birds can be quite tame, but whenever I try to photograph eastern rosellas they are off like a shot if I try to open the door to take the photo. It would seem that your robins are rather shy too.
So beautiful to have snapped the little robin ! Most of my birds studies are through my Kitchen window - that reminds me that the window need a quick clean and polish before I spy another bird !!
One of the birds that regular visit our garden. Great shot of you cute one. Fav.
( The hart shaped sun flare was a nice bonus. Saw it for the first time on the computer.)
