The other day I was asked to go pick up Michaela from her school in Żebbuġ at 10.30am. I went at around 9.00 so I could have some time to roam the old part of the village with my camera as Żebbuġ is not a place I normally go to. And just my luck, the day was rainy and dull and I had to take cover under my umbrella while I trudged the wet streets. Even the local church, which I had never gone into before, was already closed.
As I turned one corner I came across this scene. The middle window with the Holy Crucifix is real while the windows on each side are fake and the scenes painted on the wall.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
Somebody has gone to a lot of trouble with their artwork, I guess they must be very devout. I've never seen anything quite like this. Intriguing find and capture.
