First place to visit after we left the luggage with the reception was the Alcazar of Seville. We had booked from Malta for early entrance (payed extra to avoid the queue). The year before I wasn’t impressed with the plain-looking entrance of the Alcazar at all and there was a long queue while we had little time at our disposal.
But this time, being lords of our own time we could go in and stay as long as we could. And it is an amazing place to visit, as beautiful and interesting as the Alhambra of Granada.
This is one shot from the many I took. Will show a few more.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
I remember walking through here back in 1994! Loved the Alcazar. Such a beautiful design and so lush with greenery and water in the classic Islamic garden design.
