We returned to Seville after a lovely day in Cordoba exploring those lovely narrow streets. No chance to go to the hotel and we continued looking for unexplored sites in Seville.
Somewhere we entered this church and what we saw inside was out of this world. On the way out I saw a plaque saying it was the church dedicated to Santa Maria Magdalena. Thank God I took a shot of the plaque as otherwise I wouldn’t have remembered which church it was. There are so many churches in Seville that I tried to look it out on the internet but couldn’t match one single picture of it.
Many thanks for your views and comments on yesterday's picture.
What a beautiful church...Great perspective to see the symmetry, scale, ornate architecture and lighting...It must have been incredible to see it in person.
The immense height of those vaulted ceilings really comes across, too.
