A couple of shots from the village festa of Msida. This is the first.
The feast was last Sunday but the festivity takes a whole week with band marches and other activities. Sunday is celebrated with a procession around the main streets of the parish with a statue of the saint protector of the parish. In the case of Msida it is St Joseph. On the eve a fireworks display is set off after 11.00pm.
I went to take some shots on Saturday . Christine was with me and we had also Max (my grandson). Christine stayed in the car while I went out for a few shots. This is the church of St Joseph with the façade lit up for the occasion. The reflection on the water makes it look even more beautiful.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav’s. Much appreciated.
