Last Wednesday, 15th August, was the feast of the Assumption to heaven of the Holy Virgin. So Sunday before that as I had Max with me for the morning I took him to Mosta to see the decorations. I didn’t take him on the day of the feast because mass takes too long and there would be too many people around.
This is a shot of the Mosta Rotunda, parish church of Mosta, and this year elevated to the rank of Basilica as I approached the square in front of it.
Today is the turn of the Sliema parish church 'Stella Maris', the parish of the area I was brought up in. Yesterday night I went to take some shots of the fireworks and I don't regret staying there up to midnight to watch because it was a gorgeous display. I will show some shots later.
