I was walking along Spinola promenade, looking out for possible photo opportunities when I saw this lone gull pacing to and fro on this concrete landing place. I thought it looked lonely but that it would be a perfect subject for my first photo of the day. Barely a few seconds had passed, I was still checking out how the picture came, when I saw its mate coming in to land beside her ( I presumed the first gull was a lady). The second gull looked very arrogant and took immediate control of the area while starting to pace around angrily like a grumpy old man. Mrs. Gull simply tried to ignore her mate but the arrogant male wouldn’t have any of that and started screaming at her, calling her names and pushing her right to the edge of the concrete.
