This is the small fishing village of Wied Iż-Żurrieq. The word Wied means valley in English and the village is named for the valley. The people of this tiny village besides earning money from their fishing trade have a thriving business taking tourists to Blue Grotto and around the coastline of this area. Several houses/rooms have been taken over by restauranteurs and turned into quaint restaurants.
Took this shot while walking along the coastline with Max after we had visited the Neolithic Temples.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and fav’s. They are very much appreciated.
(The bridge is a distorted picture of the photo. It`s a road and a plowed field)
