A few Sundays ago we went for lunch at a top level hotel in Għajn Tuffieħa. It was extremely cold and the beach was empty except for these mother and daughter (I think) and a very few others.
Għajn Tuffieħa translates into Apple’s Eye in English. When Malta was a British colony, the British decided to name it Golden Bay for its golden sand. The English name still holds were tourists are concerned.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and fav’s. They are very much appreciated.
I thought of you during the week. Our neighbours dropped into Malta while on a cruise and spent a day in Valetta. They fell in love with your island home.
