Yesterday morning I had thought that the storm had by-passed us but in the afternoon the wind suddenly changed course and very strong cold gusts of wind began to hit the islands and within a few minutes hail started to pour down. In 5 to 10 minutes it stopped leaving y garden covered in ice. I couldn't go out to take pictures and this shot is from behind the door leading to the garden.
This morning gale force winds and warnings that people should stay inside. I am still prepared to go out and take some shots of the rough sea.
