St George's Bay at around 10.30am some days ago. In other times it would have been overcrowded with tourists - there are some big hotels around the area. Covid19 has given a big blow to Malta this Summer, probably because our government was too eager to open wide the ports for tourists and revellers to come for their holiday. Now although there is no lockdown the number of Covid19 cases are by far bigger than March and every day we get worse news. Going out is becoming scary.

A lovely view and a sad only to ‘normal’ state at the moment. I think we are all too well aware of the enjoyable life we had before this disaster. We have not been to a shop in 5 months, had a haircut(we cut our own) a meal out, been to the pub, swimming, you miss the simple things. We too are at an age we are being extra careful, I need 2 shoulder replacements, but it’s classed as not an emergency, I have been told it’s going to be next year now and that is only if we get a hold of things. Where has our life gone?
So sad to hear that...it’s a case if damned if you do & damned if you don’t....letting tourists in helps the economy but is risky, what a fine balance our politicians have to have! Harry is particularly scathing about ours & all the mistakes they have made but I’m more lenient, it’s been such a learning curve. Do hope your COVID cases go down...it’s a very scary world at the moment..will we ever be the same again.
A beautiful place to visit too I can imagine. Lovely Malta.
Still a great shot of this beautiful view.
So sorry for the scary curcumstances we all in now. Hoping for the best .
( sometimes they do. There are as many less.)
