OPEN COUNTRY AT WARDIJA

Some more shots from Wardija, this time from the open countryside near the cluster of beautiful buildings of the small village.
Some of you mentioned my mask in my pictures. I have to say I do not go out of the house without a mask. It is the law that you have to wear it and it does not bother me at all. I feel very safe when I have it on. Sometimes you are walking along a deserted street and suddenly some person would come running round a corner and you suddenly find him too close to you for comfort. Yesterday, I was informed of the sudden death of a first cousin of mine who lives in the U.K. I don’t know the circumstances of his sudden demise but I was told that the cause of death was Covid19. So I pray all of you who take this pandemic lightly to be ware because it is always better safe than sorry.
Thank you very much for your visits, for your comments and for all your fav's.
Oh I am so sorry for your loss. This pandemic has claimed many lives, my love to you and all your family.
Beautiful greenery and flowers, so nice to see colour. Very grey and misty here at the moment in the mornings.

Such sad news Dione, my condolences to you.
Like you, I am never without a mask but sadly there are still some people here who don't comply, such selfishness..
A lovely colourful collage here and lots of green, it looks a nice lush area.

So sorry to hear your sad news Dione , my sympathy and condolences to you and your family . Like you I always wear my mask and keep myself to myself as much as possible , avoiding any crowded places -- one has to do all one can to comply with the rules and regulations in the hope of keeping safe from this monster !

So sorry for your loss. Covid has caused so much pain to everyone.

We don't have to wear masks in public here now because we haven't had any Covid cases for over a month in New South Wales, but we still sanitize our hands when we go in each shop and also sanitize the shopping trollies etc. Better to be safe than sorry. We are always aware that circumstances can change quickly and we could go back into lockdown again.

Lovely collage.

F irst of all, I offer you my condolences on the sudden loss of your cousin, may he rest in peace.. Your Flora seem to be so vibrant in colour,it must be your warm weather.,On another note is the bang of shotguns, and when I enquired about it i was tolt it was a rabbit shoot, although rabbit wasn't on the menu.told it was too expensive.

Mask wearing is only compulsory in shops & indoors in public places here but more & more people wear them on the street too... whereas before you were the odd one out now it’s the norm. I wear mine where I should & if I go anywhere where I’m likely to meet others.
Love the purples & greens together.
