Strong winds but the sea wasn’t as rough as I was expecting it to be. This inlet is normally swarming with boats of the fishermen of the area. In Summer the fishermen make good money by taking tourists for boat rides along the rugged coast up to the Blue Grotto and back. On the day all the boats had been brought up on the land because of the adverse weather forecast. The line of boats follows the curve of the landing strip down to the quay as close as possible to, but safe from, the sea.

Nice to see how they lined the boats up. The fishing boats here have a low pole (waist height) at the front on which the fisher in the front holds to keep his balance when going fast. I need to pay more attention to see if the pole is removed when the boats are not sailing.
