ST GEORGE’S BAY

From my walk to the Corinthia Hotel to take shots of the watchtower and then around St George’s Bay.
This is a merge of two shots to show St George’s Bay in full. If you ever come to Malta and want a relaxing and peaceful holiday do not come here. This is where the younger generation and those who love the nightlife meet. During the day in Summer the beach is crowded with bathers and sunseekers. In the evening till late it is full of revelers.
You can see also Villa Rosa that I showed yesterday. When I was a youth there was only Villa Rosa and a few boathouses at the water’s edge, the rest was open country.

Beautiful shot of the bay and very good advice. I remember my dad buying a canvas kayak from an English man who had a boat house very close to the first lamp post in the picture. That is some 50 years ago.
