Naples – Day 5
The bell tower of the basilica looked even more beautiful than others because it was not surrounded by tall buildings. After the visit to the basilica and its small museum we decided to go to a cafeteria for a coffee before catching the train back to Naples ( we had decided beforehand not to visit the ruins) and that was a ‘fatal’ decision on our part. We enjoyed the coffee and a cake but we lost the train and had to wait for over an hour and a half to take the next one. We were a bit naïve on the occasion because we didn’t check the train timetable before we started on our trip.
