We went to Rabat the other night. It was cold and there was no one around. The L’Ísle Adam Band Club was beautifully lit and though I had my Nikon with me, the fool that I am, I had forgotten to check on the battery and when I switched the camera on I found out that the battery was flat. On occasions like this my mobile comes very handy. I took a shot of this beautifully lit club and I think the camera did a good job this time.
L’Isle Adam Band Club is named after the first Grand Master of the Order of St John Grand Master Philippe Villiers de l'Isle Adam who took possession of the Maltese Islands in 1530 A.D..
On the opposite side of the road is a beautiful palazzo which has now been turned into a chic restaurant. Across the road to the Band Club is a statue of a saint which forms part of the St Joseph Church building.
Many thanks for your views comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
I sympathise, but the mobile saves the day. One of my dilemmas, I’ve practically stopped carrying my DSLR, but I do miss the flexibility and effectiveness of the glass.
