CARNIVAL PRIDE

This cruise liner dwarfs all the bastions around Grand Harbour which are already very high compared the city walls I have seen around Europe. In the foreground is Fort St Michael at the tip of L--Isla, behind the cruise liner are the Floriana bastions.
This is the last shot I am posting from Max’s and my short tour of Fort St Angelo. From here we walked to a coffee shop for a coffee for me and tea for Max and for Maltese pastizzi (pea cakes) which we both love.
The day ended in a bad mood. As I said before, the sun rays were very hot and in the car back home Max was complaining of a headache. Christine decided it was because of the sun. Denise, Max’s mum took him to the doctor the next day as the headache persisted and it was diagnosed as migraine which kept him away from school for the next three or four days. I felt so guilty after the good time we had on the previous day.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
What a beast of a cruise ship. Poor Max. So miserable having a migraine.

Wonderful capture! Don't blame yourself for Max's migraine. They can fix that with the Cefaly device or drugs. Personally, I would prefer the Cefaly.

Great capture. Would need to be an expert navigator to bring that large vessel into the harbor.

It’s a really lovely picture, and ship, but in the scheme of things, at 88,000 tons, it’s quite small. Very nice though.
