Fourth day of our Turin holiday – Sunday, 22nd February, 2026
We got a sigh of relief when we arrived at Bardonecchia. The train was packed with people, many of them having to stay standing up throughout the journey. There was quite a lot of snow around the station. These two pictures that I took on the two sides of the landing place give some idea of what we found. However, contrary to what we were expecting, the weather was not cold and the sun was up to warm the place.

@ludwigsdiana the platform is much wider. I moved from one edge to the other to take pictures while waiting in the long queue to take the subway below the train rails.
