walking to school I spotted these wonderful poppies in Sheila's garden. We had lots of them in the garden of our first house and I love the vibrant colours even though they don't last long.
I'm quite a poppy fan now....Allan sent me a poppy card every week when he worked away from home Mon - Fri or sometimes longer! So I have quite a collection and hardly two the same over a ten year period. Friends have joined in too and I get lots of poppy theme 'stuff' on special occasions!
@mrssmith@moominmomma thank you - fun to grow and easy to collect seeds ..........in theory there should be hundreds. Some varieties seem to spread more than others. There is something special about fragile flowers that just last a short time.......they have their own moments!
