Hmmmmm! May be the longest day of the year but I needed a hot breakfast this morning....with a touch of summer! Don't believe the 10 degrees on BBC weather.....and rain forecast ....heavy later!
What a joy that we have lots of wool and cosy clothes living in Scotland!
@jmj You both make me feel better,but some sacrifices have to be made to be so close to all that beauty and grandeur! As long as it stays dry in a certain London suberb...he he he!
@jmj@moominmomma@happypat you lucky lot! Have to do with the final scores at the end of the day. I remember when I was teaching before having the children that school finished on the Friday lunchtime and the ladies' final was on that afternoon. I used to go home armed with lots of chocolates from the children and just 'pig out' and enjoy the whole experience! Ah well.....no half days at end of term any more but we have had fun today so their is no drudgery in the classroom!
@happypat@yumyum46@annielf very reassuring to know others have porridge at mid summer! Really think I am going to look out my thermal vest again as it's very chilly tonight! Still warm at home and someone has just offered to make me a cuppa so can't complain!!
