Bennachie view from the train

Bennachie is our 'local mountain' which you can see for miles in every direction as we travel home.
25 miles inland there are lots of hills and some big mountains (for UK!) but we live in gentle hill territory!
This one was taken from the train to Aberdeen. I went in on Tuesday after school to meet Allan and go to the cinema....on a school night...what a treat!!....Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.....very good.
And again was pleasantly surprised at how well some of the 'through the train window' shots turned out!!!
They have turned out well considering you were travelling at speed !! I went to see Jane Eyre last night...you don't expect a laugh a minute for that but it was very dreary !! Judy Dench was the only highlight really !!

I don't get to travel by train very often. This shot reminds me of those happy times when I can relax and enjoy looking out the window.:)

That's really pretty- Jeff and I have always wanted to do a train trip across the US. I don't know if it will ever happen, but at least we can do some things by car. Such a pretty view you have here!
