Long shadows and a fantastic walk at the beach at Newburgh today. Big skies, fresh air, bracing wind ........wonderful.
There was a colony of seals just across the Ythan Estuary and it was fascinating watching them - in and out of the water, 'hitching' along the sand and crying/calling to each other.
And three good things:
1 Lovely to walk together on last day of Allan's holidays.
2 The smell of the sea
3 Left over Christmas cake with a cuppa afterwards.
