Peeping moon

We had a lovely coffee date after school.....a nice Friday treat when I'm not heading north.
As we were leaving I noticed the moon just peeping over the hill.....not full till Tuesday but beautiful anyway. The polytunnel is one of the many where Summer fruits are grown and used to create delicious icecream in summer months. This year they have decided to stay open beyond the ice cream season and serve breakfasts, soups, sandwiches and delicious treats with tea/coffee.
Three good things
1. Fantastic active Numeracy sessions with six and seven year olds....I just love it.
2. Cosy gloves and scarf ...we had icy windscreens this morning.
3. Treacle tart with raspberry....
delicious with my latte. Shared it!!
